long before carter and keegan joined our family, matthew and i were in agreement that we wanted to spend time as a family making memories and setting traditions. both of us have fond memories with our own families spending time together. last saturday we had the opportunity to start a family tradition. we want our children growing up loving the outdoors...hiking, camping, biking, cave exploring...so we spent the day at cave of the winds on the western side of the springs. although it was a professional tour, it was perfect for our little family. the boys had a blast and we will probably go again.
...after spelunking...and working up quite an appetite...we had some mighty good barbecue and to.die.for.potato salad at rudy's...
...maybe next cave exploring experience will involve grandmas, grandpas or a few uncles and aunts...who knows...
