this little boy is SO serious...sometimes.
he is full.of.passion.
and he makes me smile at least 20 times daily.
he is currently in a "if i'm really quite mom won't notice i'm not sitting at the picnic table anymore" mode.
...and when we go shopping, especially at the commissary and a voice comes over the speaker system...
he feels the need to talk back. he looks up towards the ceiling and talks in his "carter" talk...
...and if he feels his voice wasn't heard...
he continues to talk.louder.and.louder...until he has made his point.
he has decided.period.to be mama's helper...
...every morning he spends time helping me unload the dishwasher...
which can be annoying...but he is insistent.so.i let him help...
and he has trained his brother to take their plates to the sink after meals.
he is very good at clean up before bed time...
...and he likes to have his teeth brushed.
there are now child proofs on all of the doors...
...because carter desperately wants to be a part of everything...
...including flushing the toilet so you don't have to...
...even tho he is premature about it and converts the toilet into a bidet...
thus.the.child proofers.period
he is still very cuddly...and loves to share...
...even his sucker.which.is half sucked and terribly slobbery...
...the doc at his 2yr checkup said "2 year olds are too young to share."
...but i beg to differ...maybe singlet babies don't share...
but.mine.do...if keegan sees a binky, he insists on putting it in carter's mouth...
and...if carter sees keegan's favorite ball he insists on putting it in keeg's hands...
in fact.carter is sharing his cookie.his m&m cookie.his favorite.with his little brother.right.now.
