It's double the giggles...
...and double the grins...
...and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins.

{my beautiful new toy}

We recently had to buy a new washer and dryer. We've known we would have to for a while now. For the last 6 months or so it would take the dryer 2 full cycles to dry one load of laundry. We kept putting it off because Matthew (and I have to as well since I am married to him... hehe) believes that we don't need to go out and buy brand new things until the old is close to dying. (This is the reason why we still don't have a nice flat screen HDTV. Although that will be our next big purchase because the volume has been going out of our TV for a while too.) What became the deciding factor to get a new washer and dryer was after we moved and I went to dry the first load of laundry the dryer made a ping noise... like something had come loose. When Matthew went to check what was going on, he also happened to discover that the owners of the house we just moved into had left the fire extinguisher empty. SO we thought it would be a good idea not to use the dryer anymore, especially if it happened to catch on fire...
I ABSOLUTELY love my new red washer and dryer... I could go on and on about all that it does and how wonderful it is. Some may ask "why red?" Well we originally wanted the stainless steel grey, but the draws that they sit on have been discontinued. So we opted for red, which is fine with me because I LOVE red, after all my camera and cell phone is the same red.
The day that these beauties were delivered I was able to get 11 loads of laundry done...
ALL in that one day. If that isn't productivity I don't know what is.

{dear grandma ranae}

Dear Grandma,
I too have been working very hard. I am getting very good at crawling, I am even faster than my brother because he still army crawls. BUT I still follow him everywhere, we are very best buds.
BUT sometimes I get myself into sticky situations...
AND sometimes I need help,
AND I always make this face when I am in trouble...

BUT that's alright,
BECAUSE...
I can do this...
AND this...
My brother and I are in a race to see who walks first...
BUT I have him beat because I can crawl... hehe.

Love,
Keegan

{dear nana susan}

Dear Nana,

I have been SO busy since you last saw me. I am now able to go from laying on my belly/crawling to sitting. I can now climb the first 2 stairs...

AND because I can now do this trick...
And SINCE I am teething, I have done this trick...
As WELL as this trick...
I also REALLY like to chew on mom's kitchen table chairs, her wooden dinner trays and she has even caught me occasionally chewing on the piano legs. I like to chew on almost anything that is wooden. AFTER coming to this conclusion, I think I will follow in your footsteps and attend here...

After all, beavers do love wood.

Love,
Carter

{what we've been up to}

SO we moved.
A little over a month ago.
And the garage is still littered with boxes...
AS well as the basement.
I don't know.
I guess moving 6 times in 6 years...
takes A LOT out of someone.
Matthew has stated that this was our last do it yourself move for a while.
I thought "YAY"...
BUT the moola is wonderful...
especially if you are doing a DITY across country.
SO we will see if he changes his mind in the next year...
or 2.
There are no pictures of our new house.
AND there won't be any of the inside...
until it is put together...
which won't happen for another month...
BECAUSE we are going out of town.
SO...

Here's what we've been doing when we should've been unpacking...

Chewin on some rubber blocks...

AND playin with some balls...

Bein a juice hog AND pickin on my brother...
AND crawling.

Watchin mom and dad eat pizza at Fargos...

AND not quite makin it to bed, even though it's my birthday...

LASTLY...
lettin dad dress us up in way hot winter suits that say...
size 6-12mo...
BUT I wear 18-24mo and my brother Keegan wears 12-18mo...
