we threw the boys an actual party yesterday and invited family that lives locally. sharalyn was able to come down friday night and spend saturday morning with us. chad, jami and camber came up friday night as well and stayed through the early evening. we kept the party festivities simple with a barbecue, swimming at the community center, and then cake, ice cream and playing outside.
we were determined to get carter and keegan cakes of their own because if they weren't twins then that is something they would have. but because they had their own cakes we ended up with A LOT of cake leftovers, so the guys matthew works with will be enjoying cake monday morning.
carter and keegan LOVE playing outside and although the base has wonderful park facilities, we wanted to get them their own play set for our backyard.

after cake and ice cream matthew hosed down the boys. carter took charge of the hose soon after matthew turned it on.

Too cute pictures! It looks like the boys had a great birthday! Wish we could have been there! I think two cakes is a great idea. Then they each have their own birthday! Great idea!
How fun!!! Looks like it was a blast! I am sure they luv the play set. The bubble lawnmower is a fun idea too!
