It's double the giggles...
...and double the grins...
...and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins.

{playtime}

The boys are beginning to notice and play with each other while they are laying on the floor. It has been quite fun seeing them interact. Although there are quite a few times that one or both end up crying because the other pulled hair, or scratched or hit... I know they don't understand yet, but I didn't think I would be running interference between them so soon.

{carter rolling over}

We have been slacking on posting a video of Carter rolling over. He has actually been able to do this for the past couple of months. He definitely has the advantage because his head is so big if he tilts it to one side then he rolls. Although I think he will be the first one to crawl, every time we put him on his belly he tries so hard to get up on his hands and knees. BUT I would be totally okay if neither boys crawls or walks for a long while. I want them to learn to sit up by themselves (which they are getting close), but I don't want them to become mobile anytime soon.

Carter @ 6mo:

Weight-15lbs 13oz

Length-26.5 inches

Head Circumference-18 inches

Carter has been talking up a storm lately. He isn't the shy guy he used to be, but he still is a momma's boy. He has discovered his hands and sucks on his fingers a lot, although he prefers his binky much more. He is VERY hands on. He tries to grab anything in his reach, including but not limited to... Matthew's glasses (needless to say he wants contacts now), my hair, noses and lips, pant legs, his brother, his own clothes... basically he can get his hands on. He still loves bath time and tries to grab anything that is on the side of the sink.

Keegan @ 6mo:

Weight-14lbs 8oz

Length-25.5 inches

Head Circumference- 17.25 inches

Since moving Keegan to his bed, we have discovered how much he moves while asleep. We have to put him close to the foot of the crib so he doesn't end up with his head smashed at the top by morning. He scoots like crazy... he also flails his arms while asleep, thus the pictures. We have also started him on solids, third times a charm. He seems to be doing really well with them.
