{3mo old}
Carter and Keegan 3mo old
As you can seen the overalls now fit...
Technically the boys won't have another appointment until their 4mo check up, but we decided to take the boys in to be weighed and measured just for curiosity sake.
Stats:
Carter
12lb 3oz
24 inches long
Keegan
10lb 12oz
22 3/4 inches long
Similarities:
both like to eat
both are boys
both share the same birthday
both smile and giggle quite a bit
both hate tummy time
both are usually hungry, sleepy, and even poopy at the same time
both love bath time
both sleep through the night
Differences:
Carter
is a HUGE mama's boy (we didn't mean for it to happen)
is rather shy, quiet, and sensitive
takes a lot to make him cry, but when he does it is a genuine cry w/tears and all
is easily satisfied
doesn't like to be alone or feel alone
scares easily
doesn't like to be dirty
likes to have his head rubbed
Keegan
very outgoing and loud
tends to gravitate towards dad
is all or nothing, doesn't matter if he has been fed a little bit, he will still act like he is starving
likes to smile and laugh a lot
will cry at the drop of a hat, actually it is more like screaming
very curious about his surroundings
likes to have his back rubbed/patted
sticks his tongue out all the time, like he's tasting the air

{12 hours}
This is how I found Keegan this morning when I woke him up. Keegan had kind of a rough evening yesterday. As some already know, he has acid reflux problems. Luckily between rice based formula and adding rice cereal to breast milk his reflux and projectile spit-up has become almost obsolete. He hardly ever spits-up any more. But every once in a while he has an episode, like last night. I won't go into details, but needless to say it was so rough on his body that he went to bed around 11pm and he was still asleep this morning at 11am. The boys usually are put down for bed between 10-11pm and then wake up on their own between 8-9am, by themselves. This morning Keegan was still asleep by 11am and I chose to wake him up so he could eat. I am not sure how much longer he would've slept if I would've let him. Because of his spit-up we let him sleep in the swing since it would elevate him so if he did spit-up during the night he wouldn't choke on it. So far this morning, he is doing much better and acting like last night never happened.{got milk}

{smiles}
Okay so this isn't a smile picture, but I had to show just how thick and long Carter's eyelashes are. I absolutely love them. Keegan has really long eyelashes too, but they aren't anywhere near as thick.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
{tagged... again}
Here are the rules:
2. I have been on a cattle drive. It was a blast. I went with my friend Michelle during the first year I was in college. We had fun riding horses all day long, although I don't think I could walk properly for a couple of days afterwards.
My friend Michelle and I on our cell phones out in the wilderness.
Me at my friend's ranch after rounding up the cows.
3. I am the most accident prone person I know. As of yet I have a running total of 21 scars. Granted 7 of them are from a knee surgery I had my sophomore year in high school. But I had to have surgery because I tore my ACL from stepping in a dip in the ground during a soccer game. How lame is that...
A couple of months after surgery I went to Sun Valley with my family. Not sure if it was the smartest thing to do to ice skate w/a recovering knee.
These are the pictures Dr. Shea took of the inside of my knee while he was repairing my ACL. Cool huh... 4. Having twins isn't as hard as every one thinks it is. Well maybe I just lucked out and have 2 very mild boys, but they were born with the same routine, they eat, sleep and even have diaper changes at the same time. They never had colic and are hardly ever extremely fussy. Everyone thinks I make it look easy, well it is easy for me. Not sure if it would be the same for everyone else. Still I don't know any better either. I only know how to take care of 2 at the same time, not one at a time.
My beautiful boys
5. I have not gone one day without having my toe nails painted since I was 9. I know it sounds neurotic, but I think my feet look funny when I don't have my toe nails painted. I do think it looks weird when women wear open toed shoes without their toe nails painted.
On a side note, that toe ring has been on my foot since I bought it, at this place called Toe Jam ( http://www.toejam.net/) back in 2002 while vacationing in Hawaii. Except I did take it off after my 2nd trimester since my feet began to swell. I didn't exactly want to show up at the ER asking to have it cut off since it goes all the way around my toe.
6. I really like to fish. My Grandpa Proctor taught me how. Granted I won't gut the fish, and sometimes I won't eat the fish especially if it smells like mud. But I think fishing is so relaxing, and I am good at it, lol. I haven't been fishing for a while, but I am definitely going to teach the boys how to fish. Well my mom probably will because she can teach them how to gut the fish as well. Plus she makes a mean dirt pie full of gummy worms. On a side note, one time my mom, grandpa and I went fishing (my first time) and my mom made the oreo dirt pie. When my grandpa asked my mom for a worm she pulled a authentic looking gummy worm, put it in her mouth to "lick" the dirt off and then handed the worm to my grandpa. He was thoroughly grossed out until he realized it was candy. Oh and on that trip I caught my first boat. My reel got caught on the boat's motor, haha.
