we had quite an eventful week last week. the week began with pi day, to which we celebrated by having chicken pot pie for dinner...doesn't that look divine?
...and banoffee pie for dessert...both were very yummy, and i will be making the chicken pot pie quite often. it took me a little while to figure out my own little recipe for it, but i was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out...and it was very easy as well...
then grandma and grandpa boggess came for a visit and we spent st. patricks day wearing lots of green and seeing gnomeo and juliet...figuring that altho they aren't leprechauns, gnomes are close enough. i had every good intention to make a wonderfully green dinner, but by the time the movie was over we had decided to just grab some burgers.
