{bad luck}

last week keegan accidently broke my floor length mirror...thankfully no one was hurt...and it was easy to clean up...but unfortunately even though keegan broke the mirror, i think im the one who has received the bad luck...

...so far i have shattered a small serving bowl...and then at lunchtime today, while unloading the dishwasher...this happened...

...if you ask matthew he will tell you about how in our first year of marriage i broke a drinking glass and became hysterical because i was worried that if we ever happened to have 12 people over for a dinner party we would only have 11 matching glasses...

...id like to chalk it up to pms...but i truly think i was just upset at myself...and poor matthew just stood there looking at me probably wondering what he got himself into and trying to decide if it was too late to bail...

...but ya know what?  he was the one who cleaned up the glass...and hes been cleaning up after me ever since...;)

...so i am here to apologize to whomever may be our 12th guest at a dinner party...unfortunately you will not have a matching glass and now a matching salad plate...

...this...is carters go-to dance move...we listen to music while eating breakfast/lunch...or pretty much anytime im in the kitchen concocting something...which happens to be A.LOT!!!

...and when an upbeat.fun song comes on the ipod...carter almost immediately sticks his right pointer finger in the air...looks around to see if anyone else is gonna follow...and then shakes his booty like theres no tomorrow...

...now i know why my dad use to "do the freddy"...anything to make your kids smile...

...shhh...dont tell matthew i posted this video...but you can tell him what a fun loving dad he is...this is how we spend most of our saturday mornings...or at least the boys...while i cook something de-lish for breakfast...
