these beauties are aebleskivers...i grew up on these things. what are aebleskivers...you ask.
well they are little pancake balls served with powdered sugar and jam. my grandma gladys is norwegian...
so naturally i grew up on some norwegian food...aebleskivers being one of them.
a couple of weeks ago, i realized that i hadn't made aebleskivers for a while and that the boys haven't had them...ever.so...
we had some...keegan ended up eating 7, which is one batch. that morning he ate more than i did.
these boys have truly channeled their inner norsk. aebleskivers: check...ketchup: check...maybe grandpa doug will fix em some lutefisk at christmas time...or maybe just some lefse.

yum! I've forgotten about those. I have a pan to make them in and I don't think I've ever used it. I'll have to do that sometime soon because those sound good.
I had never heard of these until I met my husband. My father in law makes them. They are yummy!
