Before Rick and Ranae left Matthew was promoted to Captain. He had a promotion ceremony where Rick was able to read the oath to him and Ranae and I pinned on captain bars that Rick wore when he was in the Air Force. It was such a special moment for all of us. And thankfully Matthew's new commander Col. Esser was completely understanding when Carter and Keegan didn't want to sit still.
