{zoo adventures}

Matthew's cousin Jami and her daughter Camber were kind enough to come watch the boys for us while we attended the ball. So we decided since the next day was Camber's birthday that we would go to the Cheyenne Mt Zoo. We had quite a time, some of which...

-a broken shoe

-a rest in a HUGE lawn chair
-imitating the gorillas (speaking of which did y'all
know that you can purchase orangutan art at the zoo?)

-observing wildlife in it's natural habitat. (you can't tell from this angle, but these 2 were in their 40s, at least. Matthew insisted on snapping this shot because it was just too funny to pass up)

-posing pretty

-oh I saw my mom at the zoo... ya know OSU beves

-having a spin on the carousel

-trying not to sweat too much

-eating lunch (this chimpunk insisted on eating

everything the boys dropped on the floor during lunch time)

-and trying not to have a bath from the giraffe tongue

(didn't you know it was wear yellow day at the zoo? in Jami's defense she was wearing yellow first, and I decided to wear it too. so I was the copycat...)
