SO we had an eventful afternoon... or more accurately lunch. Keegan refused to take a morning nap so smack dab in the middle of lunch this is what happened... he had only finished his mac 'n' cheese and then promptly fell asleep before I could serve him anything else.
He woke up later wanting more to eat and by then Carter was awake so I finished feeding them lunch.
Carter was particularly funny today. Since they were good during lunchtime and neither of them threw any food on the floor I decided to reward them with a M&M cookie. Mind you before today the first time they ever tasted M&Ms was about a week ago. It wasn't that we didn't want the boys to eat M&Ms, we just had never thought about giving M&Ms to the boys. Anyway, I gave each boy half of a cookie and Carter would take a bite, point to his cookie, look at me, and then grunt. Then he would take another bite, point, look at me, and then grunt. He did this every time he took a bite until the cookie was gone. It was the funniest thing I have seen in a while. It was almost as if he was trying to tell me "good cookie mom..." Now if only he could actually say any of those words we would be making progress...

He doesn't like to have it combed and he does the "downward dog" move a lot throughout the day. I walked into his room after his nap to him practically standing on his head. One of these days he is actually going to do a somersault and not even know it...

Katie! They look so grown up in these pictures!!! M&Ms!!!! Boys after my own heart. I am still trying to get to Colorado Springs for Spring break!!!! I miss you guys.
