we had a very full.fun valentine's day. i had plans to fill the boys up on chocolate...
chocolate chip pancakes, nutella heart shaped sandwiches, and chicken mole for dinner with black forest cupcakes for dessert...
it was all good chocolate filled food, except the heart shaped sandwiches...
... apparently i didnt quite have all of the ingredients for the chicken mole, so the boys and i had lunch at target...where the boys were given way cool swirly straws for their slushies...and we shopped for the rest of the ingredients...as well as we finished up valentine's day shopping for daddy...
a couple of days after being filled with love...i lost all of my wisdom...before last summer i had never had any major problems with my pearly whites...but since then...i have grown up and matured and been inducted into the lack of wisdom club...
...i was rather worried about the whole oral surgery thing...but it turned out to be.not.so.bad...i had a good conversation with the oral surgeon about the tooth fairy and how he better not screw up because i had already had a botched tonsillectomy...and i apparently said all this from the time he put the iv in and passed out from drugs...and i said all this with a massively big rubber stopper type thing in my mouth...oh the things anesthesia does to me...and sadly these 2 pictures were taken...by me...right after surgery...with gauze in my mouth and numbness up to my eyes and all the way back to my ears...its been a little over a week and im doing really well...
...these poor little boys totally thought they were momless for the week, and weren't always angels for daddy...even so...they sure made us smile, even if mine was a drug induced smile...
to-do list for this week:
eat steak (mashed potatoes just arent the same by themselves)
clean hosue
play with the boys
meal plan
fill the inbetweens with chocolate

Cute pictures! Glad you are feeling better from the wisdom teeth and also hope the flu bug is gone! Not a fun week.
