Baby A
Baby B
So I had my 10 week check up with my doctor today. If it isn't obvious yet, we are having twins. We have actually known for a while, but we didn't want to spill the news until I was out of the woods for a miscarriage. Before week 10 there is a 1 in 5 chance of having a "vanishing twin" where one embryo is reabsorbed into the uterus lining. Now that we have made it past that point, there is an extremely good chance that I will be able to carry both babies to full term. We don't yet know what we are having. We won't find that out until week 18-22. I am not sure if it is wishful thinking or mother's intuition, but I feel like I am going to have at least one girl. But we will see, we have decided we will take what we can get.It was fun watching the babies on the ultrasound. They were moving so much, especially when they could hear their own heart beats. It was really special for us to see and hear our babies. We have waited so long for that and we are nothing but excited for what is to come.
I forgot to mention that the twins are fraternal.

Big congrats. That will be really exciting!! Am I right that it looks like faternal rather than identical?
