It's double the giggles...
...and double the grins...
...and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins.

{easter weekend}

Easter was so much fun this year.  The boys were old enough to enjoy the traditions and Matthew's parents and cousin Sharalyn came for a visit.  It was a wonderfully packed house.  I did a lot of cooking, which I loved, and we spent a lot of quality time together.  It was so nice having family in town.  I love how close we live to Sharalyn and how easy it is for Rick and Ranae to travel.

(Matthew is the one to thank for this picutre)

Carter and Keegan absolutely loved having grandma and grandpa in town

While Easter dinner was in the final stages of cooking, we took a walk across the street and spent some time at the playground

We always love it when Sharalyn comes for a visit...

{christmas break '09}

This Christmas we were blessed to be able to travel to Nebraska for time with Matthew's side of the family. Matthew was able to take plenty of time off work so we didn't have to rush there and back. It truly was wonderful and we were able to make a lot of memories. We feel so blessed to have the families we do and to be able to spend time with them.
Noah, Cooper, Carter, and Keegan...
These 4 boys (ages 3 and under) were full of energy, mischief, and smiles. They made this holiday season so much fun.

{winter quarters}

Because of all the places I have lived, Nebraska is where I have lived the longest...And because the Boggess' still live in Nebraska, part of Christmas is going to Winter Quarters to see their gingerbread display. I remember when I was growing up my family would make gingerbread houses to submit, and each year we would go and see all of the different houses. It is one of my favorite past times. So when we went this year it brought back a lot of memories. It had been 8yrs since I had been in the Winter Quarters Visitor center and it had been well over a decade since I had been there during Christmas time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a lot of fun seeing all the creativity.

Matthew had to take a picture of this one because it was submitted by the YW in another ward and we couldn't get over how funny it looked.

{the amazing pizza machine}

Before the snow set in, we were able to get away for an evening to The Amazing Pizza Machine...(it's in the same genera of Chucky Cheese.) We had so much fun and the food wasn't too bad either for a children's buffet. This was the first time we had brought the boys to anything like this. We knew they would like the food, but weren't sure if they were big enough to do any of the rides...But we were pleasantly surprised.

We all had so much fun, especially Keegan. Anytime a ride was over he would be so upset. He loved any ride and we really had a hard time getting him to calm down when we were leaving. Guess we better check out the local joint soon...

{christmas morning '09}

Christmas morning was full of excitement. This year Santa brought the boys tricycles which they love. Although they spend most of the time using them as walkers instead of riding them. We knew this year would be memorable watching the boys open presents and watch with excitement all that they were receiving.

Brett seemed to be enjoying the toys a little more than Noah or Cooper...
Matthew bought his dad a Huskers Snuggie for Christmas as a joke intending for him to return it for a gift card...I am pretty sure that the Husker Snuggie ended up staying at the house...
