my family came for a visit at the end of march...and oh was there fun to be had...
one of 3 olympic centers in the US is in colorado springs...go figure...and it turns out it is free...
...so we went for a tour...
the weight room where rulon gardner trained for his olympic debut...
the pool where michael phelps trains...turns out we had just missed him...he was training there the day before...
...and did you know that this pool has around 100,000 gallons of water in it?...
then...we went to the zoo...and lucky us...the grizzly was very active...
...feeding the giraffes...again...
by the way...did you know my dad was the winner in his offices' biggest loser contest? he lost something like 50lbs...and he looks amazing...
