Today has been one of those days that seemed quick, however very slow at the same time. It is now 8 PM Katie and I are waiting for the hospital to call. Earlier today we went into the Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic for Katie to have an Amniocentesis to check the babies' lung development. It was pretty funny, during the proceedure Baby A was grabbing at the needle, we were watching him on the ultrasound monitor. The reason for the amniocentesis was due to last week Katie had a ultrasound in which they estimated the size and weight of the boys. It turned out that Baby A is/was about 7 lbs 2 oz and Baby B is/was 4 lbs 14 oz…Enough of a difference that the Doctors were a little concerned. However, after several tests they have concluded that Baby A is supposed to be born bigger, genetically.
So, now to the wait...the Labor and Delivery department is supposed to call when a birthing room opens up. We were going in at eight but they’ve had a number of women come in, in labor and with Katie being induced, we get bumped until they have room. So hopefully they call us soon or I guess we will be sleeping here tonight.
Ps... Happy 5th Birthday to MacKenzie...July 29th... Shes getting two cousins for her birthday!

Wow! That's crazy! Baby A weighs almost as much as Makua did when he was born. I couldn't imagine having another baby in there.
Good luck! Hope everything goes well.
Exciting times behind you and even busier, more exciting things to come! Good luck--can hardly wait to see pictures of the boys!
Uh, yeah...I just read what Kamaile wrote and Cooper weighed only 3 more ounces than Baby A. I can't imagine having another in there, either, even just 5 lbs.! I know I've already told you, but good luck!
Love,
Stephanie
